In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, bai Hotel Cebu launches Pink Power, a month-long campaign uniting medical expertise, holistic wellness, and community support.

Anchored in partnership with ICANSERVE Foundation,the hotel moves beyond basic awareness to offer free health screenings, active wellness workshops, dining-for-a-cause initiatives, and curated local pop-ups throughout October.



The cornerstone event takes place on Friday, October 9, featuring an educational lay forum led by medical oncologist Dr. Aura Go. Attendees will hear inspirational stories of hope and resilience shared by breast cancer survivors Geani Seno and Maria Vestil. Following the discussions, on-site breast screening check-ups will be conducted under the leadership of Dr. Dominique Therese Palma.

The campaign is followed with a special culinary partnership at CAFE bai. From October 12 to 16, guests can Dine for a Cause during lunch for ₱1,300 nett per person, with a portion of the revenue donated directly to the ICANSERVE Foundation. Additionally, guests wearing pink at Marble + Grain Steakhouse throughout October will receive a 25% discount on their total bill. 

Throughout the month, the campaign highlights physical wellness with Mat Pilates with Kyla, taking place at the hotel every Sunday (October 11, 18, and 25 from 4 PM to 5 PM).



Adding a social and lifestyle element, the Pink Corner pop-up booths will be in the main lobby from October 23 to 25. Guests and visitors can explore curated offerings from local brands Ahavah Crystals, A Raediant Light, and Flowers by Mama Z.

All members of the community, hotel guests, and partners are invited to participate in the activities, access educational resources, and support early detection initiatives throughout October.

Expanding its commitment to community-driven sustainability, bai Hotel Cebu has officially partnered with the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Mandaue City Jail Female Dormitory to launch an income-generating hydroponic garden initiative inside the BJMP facility. The collaboration was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between representatives of bai Hotel Cebu and the leadership of the BJMP-Mandaue City Jail Female Dormitory. Under the bai for Life sustainability program, the initiative establishes a direct pipeline between the facility’s agricultural output and the hotel’s culinary operations. Managed directly by Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs), the hydroponic garden serves as a hands-on platform for rehabilitation, vocational training, and skill-building. The produce harvested from the vertical garden system will be purchased directly by bai Hotel Cebu to supply its dining outlets, guaranteeing a reliable market for the crops.

Fueled by determination and camaraderie, Team bai Hotel Cebu celebrated a successful run at the HRRACI Sportsfest 2026 with a gold medal, multiple podium finishes, and strong performances across various competitions, proudly showcasing the passion, teamwork, and excellence that define the bai spirit. Throughout the tournament, Team bai brought energy and enthusiasm to every event, representing bai Hotel Cebu with pride both on and off the playing field. The competition culminated on July 12 in a vibrant celebration of sportsmanship and camaraderie among Cebu’s hospitality community, where Team bai's achievements reflected the dedication and unity of its athletes, performers, and support team. The final day also featured a meaningful tribute to the late Alfred Reyes, former Vice President for Operations and General Manager of bai Hotel Cebu. At the heart of the commemoration was the Alfred Reyes’s Cup, a basketball exhibition match between the City All-Stars and Island All-Stars, honoring his enduring legacy and contributions to the hospitality industry. Among Team bai's notable achievements were a championship finish in Mixed Badminton, second-place honors in Cheerdance and Ms. HRRACI, and a third-place finish in Table Tennis. The team likewise advanced to the semifinals in Men’s Volleyball and the quarterfinals in Mobile Legends, demonstrating competitive excellence across a diverse range of events.
