The celebration commenced at the hotel’s iconic Grand Staircase, where guests gathered around the Fortune Tree to offer their wishes for the new year. The atmosphere turned electric as the cultural showcase began, featuring the fluid elegance of a traditional Fan Dance, followed by the rhythmic pulse and acrobatic mastery of the Lion and Dragon Dance.


The event reached its jubilant peak with the ceremonial Yee Sang Prosperity Toss, a ritual symbolizing the "tossing up" of good fortune. The ceremony was led by bai Hotel Cebu’s Alfred Reyes, Vice President for Operations and General Manager, flanked by Armie Sollano, Director of Sales and Marketing, Leng Quindipan, Reservations and Revenue Manager, Karen Alguzar, Executive Housekeeper, and Mae Nobleza, Food & Beverage Director.
